Mary Jane (Janie) Jaworski

Mary Jane (Janie) Jaworski 64, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Janie was born November 23, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Agnes Machowicz Kozar and the late John W. Kozar.

Janie was a member of the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church and presently the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Prior to retirement, Janie was employed by Reinhart Food Service and Super Value, New Stanton and Menasha of Yukon. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. (Herkey) Jaworski and a brother Francis (Bear) Kozar. In addition to her mother, Janie is survived by a brother, Dennis (Karen) Kozar , nieces, Melanie (PJ) Spires, Michelle (Shawn) Stewart and Marley (Corey) Jacobs; also, great nieces, Lily and Clara and great nephews, Owen and Caleb.

Friends are invited from 2 to 6PM Friday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30AM Saturday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Transfiguration Cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 3PM Friday in the funeral home.
