Mary M. Gay Fox

Mary M. "Gay" Fox 70 of Alverton passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Excela Health, Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Mary was born November 15, 1942 in Mount Pleasant the daughter of the late James and Mary Shields Thompson. Mary was a member of the Grandview Church of God, Smithton and held various employment throughout the area. Surviving are her children, Kathy Barko and husband Dennis of Yukon, James Fox and wife Sharon of Wyano, Daniel Fox and wife Melissa of Acme and Cynthia and husband Kevin of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Derek and Danielle Barko, Daniel Fox, Jr, Dustin Barko, Devin Fox, Kayla Bungard, Deanna Barko and Trisha Bungard; great-grandchildren, Reese Yohman, Bret Barko, Dakota Baker and Lillian Barko; Brothers, Harry Thompson of Scottdale and Donald Thompson of Connellsville and sisters, Sharon Geyer of Ruffsdale and Patti Heck of Allentown. The family is welcoming friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE (724-547-2122) where services will be held at 11AM Thursday with Revs. Keith Solomon and Ed Nicholson officiating.
