Mary Parfitt

Mary Parfitt 99 of Washington,MI formerly Ruffsdale, PA Passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at the home of her daughter. Mary was born April 8, 1915 in Hostetter, PA the daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Pasternak Merichko. Mary was a former member and student of St. Cecilia Church, Whitney. Surviving are her daughter, Kathleen Richards of Washington, MI; grandchildren, Patty, Dave, Carol, Ronnie, Victor, Vince, Greg and Gianni; also 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Parfitt; a daughter, Marie LaRosa; son-in-law, Allen Richards; brothers, John, Joseph and Andrew Merichko and sisters, Katherine Morrow and Ann Petrosky. Family and friends were invited privately to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant, PA where a blessing service was held at 10AM Monday, August 11, 2014 with her grandson Fr. Ronald Richards officiating followed by entombment at the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg
