Mary Dolores Shaw

Mary Dolores Shaw, 89 of Mt. Pleasant passed away June 19, 2021 at her home. Mary was born November 23, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Mary E. Uhrin Konowalski. She was a 1949 graduate of Hurst High School and a member of the former Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, the Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic Church and presently a member of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Mt. Pleasant. She attended the Transfiguration Catholic School and was a member of the Bullskin Twp. Senior Center and the former Mt. Pleasant Glass Museum Staff. Surviving is her son, John E. "Yush" Shaw. Jr. (Lori) of Myrtle Beach, SC; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dorothy and Lee Briercheck for their friendship and care. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband John E. Shaw in 1985 and her daughter, Mary Sue Criner in 2011. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Mt. Pleasant (Everyone please meet at the church). Private interment will follow in the Transfiguration Cemetery.
