Milton S. Earnesty

Milton S. Earnesty 27, of Champion passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015. Milt was born January 12, 1988 in Greensburg the son of John and Kathy Kuhn Earnesty of Mt. Pleasant . Milt was a 2006 graduate of Somerset High School where he participated on the varsity teams of Football and Track & Field and excelled as a power lifter for the school. In his younger years he played football for the Norvelt Colts and baseball for Mt. Pleasant Little League. Milt graduated from the Pittsburgh Technical Institute in 2009 with a degree in criminal justice and as an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, camping and snowboarding with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Milt is survived by his fiancee, Brandee Leighty and her children, Payton and Brody; brothers, John Earnesty (Brooke) of Ruffsdale, Brandon Earnesty (Morgan) of Champion and a sister, Katie Rhodes (Brian) of Mt. Pleasant; a nephew, Bryton Rhodes; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kuhn of Mt. Pleasant; aunt, Susan Wadsworth (Bruce) of Sante Fe, NM and uncles, James Kuhn (Terri) of Acme and Robert Earnesty of Mt. Pleasant; also surviving are numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Milt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James "Jess" Kuhn and paternal grandparents, Milton and Margaret Earnesty. Family and friends are invited from 2 to 8 PM Thursday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant where services will be held at 11 AM Friday with Pastor Michael Dickman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Middle Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Twp.
