Myrtle D. Stouffer Geyer

Myrtle D. ( Stouffer) Geyer 85 of Mount Pleasant passed away Wednesday March 12, 2014 at the Mountianview Specialty Care Center, Greensburg. Myrtle was born August 23, 1928 in Fayette County the daughter of the late Paul and Nevada Harshman Stouffer. Myrtle was a former member of the Middle Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pleasant and was an avid gardener, who loved spending time outside in her garden, growing and canning her vegetables. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. Surviving are her children, Linda Holliday and husband Donald, Kathy Demary and husband Freddie, Jamie Kerekes, Denise Swaney and husband Bill, Sandra Weir and husband Frank, Grover Geyer and wife Carrie, Patrick Geyer, Hope Remaley and husband Russell, Jennifer Kalp and Rebecca Hissem and husband Randy; Grandchildren, Michele, Amanda, Kelly, Holly, Chris, Kenny, Jerry, Dana, Fran, Jesse, Derrick, Stephanie, Daniel, Zach, James, Joshua, Bussy, Blake, Shelby, Sarah, Jakob, Kayla, Brittney, and Cody; also 22 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Earl Stouffer and wife Betty, Jeremiah Stouffer and wife Joan; sisters, Margaret Schwab, Janet Pawlikowsky, Roberta Geyer and husband Carl and Carole Kriegar; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Geyer Sr., sons, James Geyer, Jr and Joel Geyer and brothers, James, Wayne and Paul Stouffer. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 8PM Sunday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant (724-547-2122) where services will be held at 11AM Monday with Pastor Stuart Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Stouffer Cemetery.
