Nancy J. Srogoncik

Nancy J. "Bubba" Srogoncik 89 of Mt. Pleasant (East Huntingdon Twp.) passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born May 15, 1923 in Mount Pleasant the daughter of the late Rudolph and Louise Gletz Hribal. She was a member of the First Brethren Church , Mt. Pleasant. Nancy loved to bake, play scrabble and enjoy walks on the farm and lived for her family and loved being surrounded by them each and every day. Surviving are her children, John R. Srogoncik and wife Barb of Harrisburg, Edmond Srogoncik and wife Vicki of Mt. Pleasant, David Srogoncik and wife Vicky of White and Louise Firestone of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Kenneth, Lisa, Nancy, Shana, Casey, Melissa, David, Cheyenne and April; 12 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Roland Hribal and wife Sandy, sisters, Laverne Kuhn and husband Don and Bibiana Hribal all of Mt. Pleasant; sisters-in-law Nancy Hribal of Latrobe, Annie Srogoncik of Somerset, Mary Srogoncik of Arizona and Katie Zewiezelewski of Mt. Pleasant; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband John Srogoncik in 1990; brothers, Raymond, Rudolph and Gilbert Hribal and sisters Charlotte, Suzanne and Marie Louise Hribal. The family would like to thank Excela Health Hospice, Harmon House staff and the nurses of Frick Hospital for their kind and considerate care of Nancy during her stay. The family will welcome family and friends from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9PM Thursday to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. MAIN STREET MOUNT PLEASANT (724-547-2122) where services will be held Friday at 10AM with Rev. Henry Landis officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
