Nora Kathy Duffey

Nora Kathy Duffey. 72 of Greensburg passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Allegheny General
Hospital, Pittsburgh. Kathy was born June 9, 1951 in Greensburg the daughter of the late James P. and
Virginia Taylor Duffey.  She was a 1969 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and continued her
education, attending classes to become a nurse's aide and was formerly employed by Redstone
Highlands, Greensburg.  Surviving are her husband, Thomas R. Freeman; children, Melinda Banta
(Richard Gmys - fiancée), Crystal Fay Virtue, Scott Bean, Heath R. Freeman, and Virginia Hemminger
(Todd); fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren a brother, Kenneth Duffey, a sister Kimberly
Duffey-Blanton; a nephew, William Blanton (Danielle) and numerous cousins.  In addition to her
parents, Kathy was preceded in death by grandsons, Devon J. Ray, Tyler Cook and sister, Nancy Duffey-Colins.
