Phyllis Adele Jacobs Pruitt

Phyllis "Adele" Jacobs Pruitt 80 of Mount Pleasant passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her home. Adele was born August 26, 1935 the daughter of the late Abraham and Essma Khoury Jacobs. She was a member of St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Greensburg, a 1953 graduate of Ramsay High School and was formerly self employed as a beautician. Surviving are her children, Beth L. Utterback and Frank J. Pruitt, Jr., both of Mt. Pleasant, and her beloved grandchildren; Joshua Pruitt, Khoury Utterback, and Jaelle; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, Dwayne, Jim and A.R. Pruitt; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lee Williams, Lois Williams and Maude Novotny. Adele was the last member of her immediate family, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Frank J. Pruitt, Sr. in 2012; brothers, William "Doc", Sam, Alex, Jim and Raymond Jacobs and sisters Edna Jacobs, Evelyn Kelly, Genevieve Miller, Elizabeth Jacobs and Yvonne Jacobs and sisters-in-law, Virginia and Jean Jacobs. The family is inviting friends Monday, Oct 19, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM to the SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, INC 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant 724-547-2122. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct 20, 2015 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St.Michaels Antiocian Orthodox Church 1182 Ashland Street Greensburg, PA 15601 where services will be held at 10:30 AM with the Very Rev.
