Retha L. Hribal

Retha L. Stoner Hribal 86 of Mount Pleasant passed away Monday September 15, 2014 at the Amber House Mt. Pleasant with her family present after a lengthy illness with Lewy Body Dementia. Retha was born October 24, 1927 the daughter of the late Orten O. and Margaret Leasure Stoner. She was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School and attended Mt. Pleasant School of Nursing for one and a half years, her student cap and cape are buried in the Frick Hospital Time Capsule. She was a past member of Alverton and Mount Pleasant Church of God. Retha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a excellent cook and baker and loved working in her yard. Her kitchen was open to anyone who visited no matter the time of day or night. Retha retired from care giving at Westmoreland Manor with 22 years of service. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Harold Hribal, Sr.; children, Ralph Hribal (Eileen) and Donna Loucks (Karle) of Mount Pleasant and Harold Hribal Jr. (Tina) of Murraysville; grandchildren, Kelly Hribal, Sean Hribal, Justin Loucks, Trisha Yurko, Ryan Hribal and Alex Hribal; Great grandchildren, Harrison Loucks, Julia Loucks, Ava Yurko, Alexa Yurko and Mia Hribal; sisters, Gloria Miller, Jeannette Stoner, Margaret Burkholder, Dianne Lint, Ema Stoner and Deborah Lint; brothers, Lawrence Stoner, Jay D. Stoner, Franklin Stoner and David Stoner. In addition to her parents, Retha was preceded in death by her son, Michael Stoner Hribal, infant grandson Adam Loucks, brother Ronald Stoner, sisters, Zelma Herbert, Dolores Moore, Martha Butler and Carol Kite. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mount Pleasant 724-547-2122 where services will be held at 10AM Thursday with Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
