Retha June Show

Retha June Show 90, of Scottdale formerly Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her home. June was born December 28, 1927 in Friendsville, MD the daughter of the late Paul and Flossie Friend Hook. She was a graduate of Uniontown High School, was a member of the Markleysburg Church of God and attended the Mt. Pleasant Church of God, being very active in organizations of the church. Employed by the H.C. Frick Community Hospital, June was a medical records clerk retiring in 2004 after 28 years of service. Surviving are her sons, Pastors Douglas Show (Nancy) of New Brighton, Timothy Show (Rita) of Rockwood and Stephen Show (Carol) of Port St. Lucie, FL and a daughter, Gayle Brown (Jay) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Craig Show, Janel Show, Melissa Putman, Stacey Rosman (Joshua), Pastor Vincent Show (Kerri), Diana Foster, David Brown (Jennifer), Carrie Byrne (Michael), Jared Show and Emily Pitt (Tyler); 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Jean Drummer of Wooster, OH and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Pastor Earl F. Show,June was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Show. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Friday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant and 10 to 11AM Saturday to the Mt. Pleasant Church of God where services will be held at 11AM with her sons officiating and her daughter accompanying on the piano. Private interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
