Robert F. Kraus

Robert F. Kraus 93 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday December 15, 2017 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Robert was born October 13, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant the son of the late Howard and Mary Schouper Kraus. Robert was a World War II Navy Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 446, Mt. Pleasant and was retired from the Screw and Bolt (Modulus) Corp. Surviving are his grandchildren, Robert, Jessie and Jamie Kraus, all of Mt. Pleasant; great grandchildren, Brendon, Conner, Jayelyn, Kelly and April; great great grandchildren, Carden and Luca; a brother, James Kraus and a sister, Margaret Kraus and special friends, Carey Procter and son Jake. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife Helen, a son, Robert, brothers, Howard, Leroy, Joseph, Charles and Paul Kraus and sisters, Philomena Kraus and Helen Dolby. Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Tuesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 11AM Wednesday with Rev. Robert Thoma officiating. Interment with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 446 Mt. Pleasant will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
