Robert Joseph Orange, 25, of Mt. Pleasant Township, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 10, 2014. He was born Feb. 9, 1989, a son of Lori Bossick Shearer and husband, Tom, of Norvelt, and John Orange and wife, Diane, of Greensburg. He was a 2007 graduate of Geibel Catholic High School in Connellsville, where he played soccer and basketball. He graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Villanova University and was currently employed by Nabors Completion and Production in Black Lick. Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his sister, Molly Orange, of Washington, Pa.; his paternal grandmother, Louise Orange, of Indiana, Pa.; his aunts and uncles, Joseph Bossick (Kathy), of Southwest, Pa., Jan Brougher (Roy), of Latrobe, Lee Ann Rice (Larry), of Florida, Liz Maguire (Bill), of Allison Park, Todd Orange (Leesa), of Apollo, and Amy Orange (Robert), of Alaska; several cousins; and his dog, Carlos. Deceased are his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ann Bossick; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Orange. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in St. Florian Roman Catholic Church, 4261 Route 981, United. Interment will follow in the St. Florian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 105 Braunlich Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
