Sandra L. Sobinsky

Sandra L. Sobinsky 72, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving husband and family. Sandra was born November 9, 1944 in Connellsville the daughter of Geraldine Levergood Kennedy and the late John Kennedy. Sandra was a 1962 graduate of East Huntingdon High School and Durbin's Secretarial School and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of God. Sandra was employed for many years as a management assistant for the Defense Department of the federal government in Washington, DC and Pittsburgh, Sandra loved camping, travel and bingo.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, James Sobinsky; children, John Daniel McGovern (Heather) of Mt. Pleasant and Michelle K. Majhan of Scottdale; and grandchildren, Collin and Chase Majhan. In addition to her father, Sandra was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Kennedy.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for their kind and considerate care of Sandy.

Family and friends are invited from 4 to 8PM Tuesday to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant where services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday with Rev. Jack Fike officiating.
