Sara J DeArmint

Sara Jane DeArmint 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, March 8, 2015 at the Harmon House, Mt Pleasant. Sara was born August 21, 1933 in Kregar the daughter of the late Ira and Rebecca Shawley Moore. Sara was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a member of the ladies auxiliary of VFW Post 3368 and American Legion Post 446, Mt. Pleasant. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bash (Daniel) of Somerset; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother Homer Moore of Rector. In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by a son John DeArmint; infant sisters, Helen and Roxie Moore, sister, Lois Moore; brothers, Fred and Kenneth Moore and sister-in-law, Mary Osip. At the request of the family there will be no visitation or service. Private interment was held in the Youngwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W.
