Tammy Jo Osborn 42 of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday January 20, 2016 comforted by her parents. Tammy was born August 5, 1973 in Ross County, OH the daughter of Chester and Janie Campbell Osborn of Waverly, OH. Tammy was a 1991 graduate of Southeastern High School, Richmond Dale, OH, upon graduation she enlisted in the Army serving ten years in the armed services attaining the rank of Sergeant and warrant officer receiving numerous medals, awards and ribbons. The Army Commendation Medal, Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Sharpshooter. Tammy's military education while in the Army included personnel administration, combat lifesaving, nuclear biological chemical specialist and primary leadership. Upon serving her full term in the Army, Tammy then enlisted in the Army Reserve and National Guard serving an additional twelve years for a total of 22 years of service. Tammy was a very avid runner, running marathons with her friends and enjoyed all type of sports, she was recently employed as an auditor by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Surviving are her parents, a brother, Eric of NY and a host of friends and relatives. Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chester and Alma Osborn and Bill and Ethel Campbell.
