Thomas R. "Chicken" Katry

Thomas R. "Chicken" Katry 65 of Mount Pleasant passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home. Tom was born November 2, 1950 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Harry A. Katry, Sr. and Elizabeth Robbarbio Katry. Tom was a 1968 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School, a Vietnam Navy veteran and formerly employed by Lenox Crystal, Mt. Pleasant. Surviving are his son, Thomas R. Katry II and his girlfriend, Jennifer Hart; a sister, Linda Vincent and Larry, both of Mt. Pleasant and a brother August (Gus) Katry and wife Kathy of Castle Shannon; special niece and nephews, Amy, Gus and Scott and great niece Autumn. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Katry in 1982 and a brother, Harry A. Katry, Jr. in 2012. Friends are invited from 11am to 1 PM Monday November 23, 2015 to SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. Main Street Mt. Pleasant 724-547-2122 where services will be held at 1PM Monday with Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating. Interment with full military honors conducted by American Legion Post 446 Mt. Pleasant will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
