Ugo Anthony "Jake" Mascioli Jr., 92, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Uniontown Hospital. Jake was born January 17, 1926 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Ugo A. Mascioli Sr. and Anna (Pitek) Mascioli. Jake was a World War II United States Army veteran. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 503, Connellsville, the Connellsville Sportsman's Association, Juniata Sportman's Club. Page: 1 He was self-employed as a Distributor for the Archway Cookie Company, retiring after 29 years. He was a loving husband, father, grand father and great grand father who enjoyed gardening and cooking for his family. Surviving are his wife, Elaine (Curtis) Mascioli, married on March 4, 1950, with whom he would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary; a son, Terry Mascioli (Connie) of Vanderbilt, Pa.; grand children: Lynnlee Mascioli and Stephen Mascioli (Joedi) both of Connellsville, Pa.; and great grandchildren: Jordan, Sydney and Ty Porterfield, and Jace and Melea Mascioli. In addition to his parents, Jake was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph, Phillip and Paul Mascioli; and a sister, Mary K. Mansell. A private visitation and service was held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant PA 15666 (724.547.2122) where Military Honors were conducted by American Legion Post 446.
