Velma J. McLean

Velma J. McLean, 76 of Normalville fell to sleep in death on Monday, November 17, 2014 at home, she will be missed by many. Velma was the daughter of the late George and Matilda Nichelson and is survived by her loving and devoted husband Samuel; five children, Sandra Reeves of Connellsville, Cheryl Guynn of Normalville, Daryl McLean of Scottdale, Lorna Keller of Copon Bridge, WV and Robin Hines of Connellsville; ten grandchildren, David, Rachel, Seth, Daryl, Johnathan, Julie, Heather, Tristan, Danielle and Wyatt. Velma was a volunteer who preached the good news of God's Kingdom to many; she enjoyed gardening and bird watching, especially hummingbirds; she also enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. A memorial service for Velma will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Connellsville.
