Virginia L. King, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, went to rest Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at the Greensburg Care Center, with her family at her side. She was born July 3, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late William and Ella Forejt Broush. Virginia was a 1956 graduate of East Huntingdon High School and a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant. She was a bartender for 35 years, employed by Goo's Corner Cafe and Nino's Restaurant. Surviving are her sons, Anthony C. King, of Mt. Pleasant, Christopher S. King and wife Jill, of Sewickley, Kelly D. King, of Mt. Pleasant, and Tracy "Irv" King and Cindy Matera, of Riverdale, Md.; grandchildren, Anthony King, Courtney Scarsella (Paul), Katie and Emily King; sisters, Audrey Randolph and Gladys Zearley, of Scottdale; and a brother, William Broush, of Greensburg. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, John C. "Turk" King; a son, John L. King; daughter-in-law, Debbie King; sisters, Mildred Brywa and Dorothy Tullio; and brothers, Jack and Richard Broush. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE, 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, where a celebration of life service for Virginia will begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Shirer officiating.
