William A. Brush

William Alan Brush, 74, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.  Born June 21, 1948 in Mount Pleasant, PA, he was the son of the late William Daniel Brush and Francesca (Fannie) Josephine (Hlavsa) Brush.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Ann (Fahringer) Brush.  He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Marie Brush, and beloved granddaughter, Audrey Alexandra Brush, both of State College, PA.  He is also survived by several cousins, nephews and great-nieces.  Bill was a Vietnam War Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force (Strategic Air Command).  He was employed by Volkswagen of America and Harley-Davidson USA.  Bill had both a formidable presence and a huge heart.  He loved freedom, and spoke his mind with conviction.  Bill also had a soft spot for dogs, particularly his German Shepherd Dog, Luke.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 2-4 and 5-7 pm at  SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. MAIN STREET MOUNT PLEASANT where services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, August 27, 2022 with Rev Tom Shirer officiating.
