William W. Johns

William W. Johns, 76 of Mt. Pleasant Twp. passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh. William was born January 14, 1945 in Greensburg, PA the son of the late Wayne and Marion Carlson Johns. He was employed as a draftsman by Westinghouse Electric. William was a car enthusiast, loving his corvette and car cruising with his friends, he also enjoyed flying his radio controlled airplanes and the outdoors as a hunter, fisherman and working on his property. Surviving is his wife, Trudy Meisl Johns; children, Michael Johns (Denise) and Amanda Kaylor (Clint); grandchildren, Daniel, Melinda Holtzer (Erich), Steven Johns (Melissa), Caleb, Lucas and Theo Kaylor; and also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Steven Johns. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 8pm Wednesday and from 9:30 to 10:30am Thursday at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE 730 W. MAIN STREET MT. PLEASANT where services will be held at 10:30am Thursday with Rev Richard J. Kosisko officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the Fairview Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Twp.
