Yvonne F. Domagala

Yvonne F. Domagla (Demagall) 95 of Mt Pleasant passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on March 25, 2023.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Yvonne was born March 23, 1928, a daughter of the late William and Ethel Whitehair Smitley.  She was the owner operator of a beauty salon in Mt. Pleasant and then formerly employed by Bryce Brothers Glass factory and Lenox Crystal for over 40 years.  Surviving are her children Linda Gowton (George), Patty Rudnik, Jim Demagall (Pam) and Anita Williams (Don) all of Mt, Pleasant; grandchildren, Annette Cramer( Docie ), Matt Grimm, Josh Demagall(Amanda), McKenzie Ballew (Ryan) and Justin Demagall (Amanda); great grandchildren, Chase Cramer, Harley and Rhyatt Demagall and Tannor Ballew. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Alex in 1992, infant son Timothy 1959 and son in law Joe Rudnik 2017, brother, Jack Smitley and sister Geneva (Sis) Booker and nephew, Barry Booker and her beloved pet Lilly. Yvonne enjoyed her camp at Big Bear in Bruceton Mills, WV, riding on her golf cart, bingo and shopping, and the casino's.  Yvonne had the best caregiver, who she called "Pinky" Aryauna Aultz, and loved her as a daughter. The family would like to extend special thanks to Med Staffers for finding "Pinky" for us and Excela Health Hospice Care, Dari Ann, Kathy, Ann and Angie, her nurses and her wonderful aide, Lori. The family cannot thank these girls enough for the wonderful care they gave to our mom.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a favorite animal rescue in memory of her beloved pet Lilly or a local fire department or EMS. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 730 W. MAIN STREET MT. PLEASANT where services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday.  with Rev Tom Shirer officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
